Linkwache is a private, free service without warranty. It searches publicly accessible sources for warning signs of fraud and summarises them in plain language. A result is an assessment, not proof: a “green” page can still be dangerous, a “red” one harmless. No liability is accepted for decisions based on a result.

Voluntary support via the donation button is a gift without consideration; it creates no entitlement to any service.

Services used

Domain registration data (RDAP), DNS resolution (Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, Google Public DNS), certificate logs (crt.sh), Google Safe Browsing, abuse.ch URLhaus, PhishTank, urlscan.io (sandbox screenshots). The checked links are sent to these services — nothing else. Linkwache itself runs on a private server in Germany; details under Privacy.
